Feelin ornery...

This is a test.

I have been very busy

and have lots of pictures 

to share with you.

Lots of stories

to be told.

But for some reason

I have been unable to post

pictures

on this blog.

Until today.

Sweet Heather

wrote to tell me 

what I need to do.

I now need to

use Picasa

to upload my pictures.

Why, I ask you.

It was so simple before.

Now there are more hoops to jump through.

I was seriously thinking

about 

quitting.

Blogging that is.

But 

I 

must

admit

that 

I need

to see this thing

through to the end.

This thing called

house

building.

another hoop

I am going to go beat my head on a rock

things will become clear to me

in a little while...

In the meantime,

it is spring.

The sun is shining,

and it warm.

Here is some of the spring loveliness going on.

Our one lone flowering tree.

Yesterday on the way to the dump

with a load of sheetrock scraps

there were miles and miles

of blooming redbuds and wild cherries

just growing wild...

willy nilly.

I was purple with envy

and wanted to just 

snatch one right out of the ground

to plant in my yard...

Someday very soon

I will have lots and lots

of redbuds.

Jim says we dont have any

because the cattle who roamed these parts

would either eat

or trample them down.

Darn cattle!

The best news of all is

WE HAVE SHEETROCK!!!

Here is where the magic begins...

This crane unloads the sheetrock right up to the door.

Cool, huh?

In the past few days

a lot of hammering

and screwing

has been going on...

Heavens to Mergatroid!

We have walls!

And

I have just taught myself

how to blog my pictures again!
